Important! Changes in FDIC policy

Herewith we would like to inform you about the recent amendments in the FDIC
temporary coverage.

From December 31, 2010, through December 31, 2012 all the money in a
"noninterest-bearing transaction account" are provided with an unlimited
coverage by the FDIC. Please note, that this measure is temporary and
besides the FDIC's common deposit insurance regulations.

The term "noninterest-bearing transaction account" means a usual checking
account or demand deposit account on which the insured depository
institution pays no interest.

Cyclogs is Back!

Dear Cyclogs Users

Many apologies for the extended downtime of the website. We have had a few issues with the shared web hosting service which meant we had to take the site off line. However, these problems have now been resolved and we're pleased to be able to re-launch the site. Unfortunately, we have had to remove the photo uploading facility as this was causing a few problems. The Twitter upload facility has also been suspended for the time being.

All previous ride data has been restored. If you need to extract your ride data to upload into a different log, this can be done by going to http://cyclogs.org/ridelist.aspx - use the date filters to return all the rides you wish to extract, then click the excel button to download a CSV file of your data.

Looking to the future, we're hoping to get some professional help with hosting arrangements so that we don't get any repeats of this extended downtime. We'll keep you posted via the blog of any news on this front. In the meantime ...
